habe mich nur gefragt, ob man auch Dinge zurückgeben kann und das Geld dafür zurückbekommt?

This store was everything I was hoping for and more! I had such an amazing experience buying a very special pen here that I literally shed a few tears (of happiness) on the sidewalk afterwards (while my husband gently patted me on the back). The store itself is gorgeous, with a great selection of fine paper and pen goods, but the standout was the service. The … mehr woman working there just Gets It. She made fountain pen buying so personal and specialized for my needs and interests. It was a one-of-a-kind experience.
In planning my recent trip to Berlin, I knew I wanted to visit a pen store (because Germany is the land of amazing pens, of course!) and wanted to buy a German-make pen of some kind. I specifically decided on buying a Pelikan, because I own a number of Lamy's, Kaweco's, etc., and I never see Pelikans in person where I'm from. After some searching I narrowed my choices down to this store and another, and picked this one based on someone else's picture of the glass tower of fountain pens available at this shop (thank you to whoever that was, I owe you one).
Okay, the sheer number of pens—I nearly started crying right then and there. She has a huge selection of some of the finest brands. The many many candy-colored Sailors alone.... It took a lot of will power to turn my eyes away from those and focus on what I came there to do. I told her my thought process behind choosing Pelikan (she was like "of course, perfect choice—a Pelikan in Berlin!") and then she inked up an EF and F for me to try (those are my usual nib sizes of choice). After patiently watching me hmm and haw about that, she pulled all the colors she had of the model I wanted to choose from. Actually picking a finish was so hard, but again she was so so patient, and even graciously let me show her pictures of my current pen collection so that she could help me narrow it down based on what I have. Everything I had to say was taken into consideration, and not only did she listen to me blab about different pens and what I like and dislike about other makers, she offered many many gems of wisdom about a variety of brands. She is a true connoisseur of fountain pens. She knows her stuff. She also insisted on dipping whichever pen I chose, so that I knew I liked the nib I'd walk out with. I haven't had other stores offer to do that before. So thoughtful!
Okay, super long story wrapping up... She boxed up my pen and I went outside and cried aforementioned tears and then raved about the experience the whole train ride back home (and then some and also again to everyone who will listen to me such that now here I am writing a review because this was special and she deserves it). I HIGHLY recommend this shop. I really wish I could go back! She's just the kindest person who really loves what she does. That alone was worth the visit.
